Babruvahana was a character in the Hindu epic, the Mahabharata. He was the son of the Pandava prince, Arjuna, and the princess Chitrangada of Manipura.
In the Mahabharata, Babruvahana is depicted as a brave and capable warrior, who inherited his father's martial prowess and skill with weapons. He is known for his leadership and bravery, and was said to have led his army to victory in many battles.
One of the most notable events in Babruvahana's life was his role in the battle between his father, Arjuna, and his maternal grandfather, the king of Manipura. In this battle, Babruvahana fought against Arjuna and killed him, despite his father's attempt to spare his life.
However, after killing Arjuna, Babruvahana discovered that his father had been cursed by the sage Durvasa, and that he would die as soon as he had killed his own father. To break the curse, Babruvahana performed the necessary funeral rites for Arjuna, which brought him back to life.
